Patients needing more complex emergency care can be seamlessly transferred to BID-Milton or BIDMC in Boston, where their medical information will be readily available to the treatment team thanks to an integrated medical record system. A wide variety of common illnesses and injuries can be treated in an urgent care setting instead of a hospital’s emergency room, including ear and urinary tract infections, common colds, flu, sprains or strains, as well as cuts and deep bruises. Open seven days a week, the clinic treats adults and children over the age of two with urgent but not life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
